About the role
You cover Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and City, plus point-to-point trips across London. Every fare is agreed with the customer before the trip.
Some of the airport work is for Air Peace, our airline partner. You meet the passenger inside arrivals with a name board, help with bags, and drive them where they are going. Some trips are executive work, which is the same job in a better car.
What you'll do
- Accept the trips you are offered and arrive before the pickup time.
- Track the flight and wait inside arrivals with a name board.
- Help with luggage, check the passenger's name and destination, then drive the agreed route.
- Keep the car clean at the start of every shift.
- Call the office if you are delayed, can't find a passenger, or can't make a trip.
- Keep your licences, insurance and MOT current. An expired document stops you taking work.
What you'll need
- A full UK driving licence.
- A private hire (PCO) driver licence and a vehicle private hire licence.
- A vehicle no more than 5 years old, with valid insurance and MOT.
- An enhanced DBS check. We help you get one if you don't have it.
- The right to work in the UK.
Nice to have
None of these are required. Apply without them.
- Airport meet-and-greet or executive chauffeur experience.
- An executive car, such as a Mercedes E-Class, BMW 7 Series or Range Rover.
Pay and benefits
You are self-employed. You keep an agreed share of every fare you complete.
Fares are fixed and shown before you accept, so you know what a trip pays.
We pay gross by bank transfer, with a statement of the trips it covers. You handle your own Income Tax and National Insurance.
